We’re Not Dead… Just Hibernating

Apologies for our lack of updates over the past few months. We are a very, very small team here at Inkspill Magazine, who run the magazine in our spare time out of love.¬†Unfortunately, that thing called ‘life’ has had to take priority recently. Issue 9¬†will¬†happen… but obviously it has completely overrun. We’re really sorry about this.

Some of you may recall that we previously offered an editing serviced called ‘Inkspill Critiques’. Well, editor Sophie Playle has been developing this service, and is now running her own independent editing business: Playle Editorial Services. If you’re looking for someone to help edit your novel or provide constructive feedback, feel free to check out the website.

Despite our recent lack of involvement with the magazine as of late, our readership and following is still going strong. There are many fantastic short stories, poems, artworks and articles to look at in the previous issues, so we hope you enjoy working your way through them while we take a short break. Thank you for your support.

Welcome to the New Inkspill Magazine Website

Our website has finally had an overhaul from its original design, which launched back in January 2010 with the first issue of Inkspill Magazine. There may still be some teething problems, and the site will continue to grow, but we’re delighted with our shiny new digital face.

Let us know what you think, if there’s anything missing or broken, or anything you’d like to see added in the future. And after you’ve had a nose around our new shindigs, don’t forget to get stuck into the magazine!
